Sensory-Friendly Time: Create Your Own Slime

Crafters, fidgeters, and sensory-play enthusiasts ages 3 and up.
For this activity offered during our weekly Sensory-Friendly Times, we will guide Campers and their families through the project step-by-step with visual examples for each step, and there will be extra time and materials on hand to create with. Kids will stir together clear glue and a liquid slime activator in a container.
Next, kids will knead the slime with their hands until the ingredients are well blended and the mixture feels like slime!
Kids will get to knead different colored clay into the slime to create different colors of slime.
Finally, kids will put their slime into an air-tight container so that they can take their DIY slime home.
Make time for slime! Slime is squishy, stretchy, spongy, and so much fun to play with! And like many sensory toys, slime isn’t just fun, it also helps kids focus and relax as they play.
