This DIY Rainbow Rice Sensory Toy Is Sunshine on a Cloudy Day
Tilt it slowly and it sounds like rain!

You probably already have everything you need to create this satisfying sensory toy. When layered into a bottle, you can swirl it, shake it, and carry a rainbow with you everywhere you go!

What You’ll Need:

2 cups of uncooked white rice

Neon food coloring

Plastic zip-top bags
-
Paper plates
-
Clear plastic or glass bottle
-
Paper towels
-
Small toy pig (optional)

Funnel
-
Glue dots
1. Pour a half cup of rice into a zip-top bag and add five drops of food coloring and close the plastic bag.

2. Squish the zip-top bag to mix the color into the rice.

3. Open the zip-top bag and pour the wet rice onto a paper towel to dry.

Pat the rice dry with a paper towel if necessary.
4. Repeat the process with as many colors as you’d like.

5. Fill up the bottle by layering colored rice with a funnel.

6. Attach the toy pig to the top of the bottle with glue dots.
