Slime time and snack time are arguably the BEST parts of any day, so we’ve combined them for a craft hue can really get into! Since this craft involves some microwave time and the marshallows can get pretty hot, we suggest that grown-ups do the nuking and the stirring, while kids get to add the food coloring drops and handle the kneading (which is arguably the funnest part of the craft anyway...other than eating it).

  • Marshmallows

  • ¼ cup of vegetable oil

  • Powdered sugar

  • Food coloring

1. Place five jumbo-sized marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave them in 30-second intervals until melted.

Be careful not to overheat the marshmallows, or they’ll burn!

2. Add a few drops of food coloring to the melted marshmallows and stir.

3. Gradually stir in around two tablespoons of powdered sugar. Add it quickly before the marshmallows can cool down.
