Forget the traditional birthday cake — this party is all about the donuts. Celebrate your kid's birthday with a party in honor of National Donut Day (June 4). At this party, the donuts are not just for dessert. Welcome your guests with a room full of donut decorations — we're talking about a donut wall, donut garland, and donut balloons. Set up a crafting station where guests can make donuts out of salt dough and craft donut sock pillows. And the party wouldn't be complete without a towering cake made out of donuts, now, would it? A Day At The Farm Party

Kara's Party Ideas

I'm not sure when Old MacDonald's birthday was, but if it was in June, I bet he would throw a farm-themed party to honor Farm Workers Day on June 10. Steal the idea to create your own kid-friendly "farm" party with everyone's favorite animals. Decorate your yard just like a barn with red and white checkered tablecloths and barrels of hay seats. Let your guest explore the "farm" with a chicken egg hunt, and let them bring home a paper plate farm animal of their very own. Bonus points if you can even getting a petting zoo to come IRL! National Go Fishing Day Party

Hostess with the Mostess

There'll be no reeling in the fun at this fishing-themed birthday party for your June birthday kid in honor of National Go Fishing Day (June 18). Cast your line into the celebration and decorate the room like the inside of a tackle box full of pretzel fishing pole rods and gummy worm bait. Make your own paper plate fish and finish off the party with a classic game of backyard magnetic fishing to see who can rank up the most catches. Finish off the day with a group drum circle and a slice of cake right out of a drum. Sing and dance right on over to Kara's Party Ideas for even musical inspo.

National Pink Day Party

If you have a June birthday kid who loves the color pink, you should definitely know that June 23 is National Pink Day! With this party, there's no such thing as too much pink. Invite guests with pink invitations and set the dress code for different shades of pink. Fill the room with pink streamers and balloons, and set up a photo booth full of fun pink props. End the celebration with a pink piñata cake — filled with pink candies, of course.

It's time for a night (or afternoon) at the drive-in to celebrate your kid's June birthday. Before they settle in for the film, guests can grab tasty snacks at the concession stand. Then pick a favorite movie for the main event! When the movie is over, park the cars and celebrate with popcorn cupcakes. Drive on over to Party Like A Cherry for some more ideas.

Why not celebrate your kid's June birthday and welcome summer with wide-open arms at the same time? The official first day of summer is June 20, but you can celebrate all month long. Head outside for a day full of outdoor fun. Set up a water obstacle course, partner up for a water balloon toss, and even set up a giant DIY slip n slide. Everyone can craft some suns and make their own bouquet of flowers while they dry off.

Time to strike a pose! Throw a giant photoshoot birthday party for your June birthday kid in honor of National Selfie Day, which falls at the end of the month. Swing into the celebration and set up a bunch of mini photo booths around the yard. Fill each one with props to go with a different theme — like Hollywood, superheroes, or a tropical summer. You'll want to keep a Polaroid camera around at each booth, so your young guests can take photos of all the fun. When everyone's all posed out, set up a crafting station where kids can decorate picture frames to show off their photos from this special day.
