Turns out the moon isn't made of cheese, but it might be made of cookies.

After-school snacking just got an upgrade thanks to this out-of-the-world list. Give the kids' school snacks the upgrade they deserve and turn them into an intergalactic treat. It will easily be the best part of their day!
Moon Space Snack
I'm not sure where the idea came from that the moon tastes like cheese, but something tells me this version of the moon is about to taste a whole lot like peanut butter. Let the kids do a taste test for themselves and make a mini version of the moon in this clever after-school snack. The recipe combines a rice cake, peanut butter, and Cheerios to make a mini replica of the moon full of craters. Peanut butter not their thing? Sub in any nut butter for the same effect.
Rocket Fruit Kebobs
Playing with your food isn't something you usually encourage. But these rocket fruit kebobs are the exception to the rule. Stack this snack sky-high with fruit flying sky-high, stack melon, bananas, and berries on a stick and prepare for liftoff. Before the kids blast off, double-check that Houston has the correct coordinates that lead directly into their mouth.
Oreo Moon Phase Cookies
Cookies might not be the most nutritional snack to munch on after school, but sometimes you just need something sweet. At least with these Oreo moon phase cookies, kids will get a science lesson in the process. This clever snack takes classic Oreo cookies and shapes the cream to go through all of the different phases of a moon. Bonus: As they learn about the different phases of the moon, they'll get to snack on all of the remaining cream.
Alien Jell-O Cup Snacks
Oh no! It looks like aliens have come to invade your kid's after-school snack. Don't worry — they won't stick around for long, thanks to how tasty they are. Have them grab a spoon and dig into some bright green Jell-O to easily clear out the invasion. Just don't let them wait to gobble up these green guys — you never know what they have planned for dinner time!
Galaxy Party Popcorn
Popcorn is a snack that never goes out of style. It's great at lunchtime, delicious for a midnight snack, and even better right after school. But have you ever thought to take this classic treat and bring it out of this world? That's exactly what A Magical Mess does with her galaxy party popcorn. The sweet snack uses plain popcorn as a base and mixes in chocolate, marshmallow, and galaxy sprinkles for a galactic twist. Want to keep the popcorn on the savory side? Replace the chocolate and marshmallows with dried fruit and nuts. It'll blast your kid's tastebuds out of the Milky Way.
Edible Constellations

Modern Homestead Mama
Just because the school day is over doesn't mean the learning has to stop. Bring some astrology to the kid's snack time and have them build their very own constellations out of marshmallows and pretzels. Before they get constructing, have them look up a few of their favorite constellations, so they'll have a model of their edible star. When their constellation is all set, they can dig in one star at a time.
Astronaut Trail Mix

Sugar, Spice, and Glitter
After-school snacks don't have to be complicated, unlike space missions to the moon. Keep snack time simple and make some astronaut trail mix to munch on while they work on homework. Sugar Spice and Glitter combines Moon Cheese bites, cashews, dried berries, and apple chips to make their mix, but feel free to add in any other snacks that fit the bill.
Space-Themed Snack Board

Freutcake
They can't decide on your favorite planet? They want to go into space but also work at mission control? Do they have a bunch of favorite constellations and can't decide on the best one? If you've answered yes to any of those questions, something tells me your kid might be a little indecisive when it comes to picking out after-school snacks as well. Luckily, this space-themed snack board has got them covered. The board has over six spaced-themed snacks for them to enjoy. They can spend all the extra time they saved deciding on a snack on going back and wondering about those questions...
Baby Yoda Guacamole Platter

The Farmgirl Gabs
Baby Yoda is no stranger when it comes to space travel. I mean, Mando has literally taken him all over the galaxy in order to help the little guy get back to where he belongs. Channel Grogu's love for space and satisfy your young Padawan's hunger with some guacamole shaped just like their favorite Star Wars character. They'll be going back for second and third helpings, just like Grogu did for those frog eggs.
