Not much to do here down on the Serengeti. Sometimes there’s good gossip down at the watering hole, but the idle chit-chat gets old. A zebra needs to find a way to pass the time, ya know, which is why we’re always fiddling with our springy ears, spinning gears, clackers, twirly-bobs and bead runs. It helps us develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, and learn about cause and effect, which is why we don’t go near lions anymore. Guess it’s not so boring here after all. We just had to look within ourselves to find out.
