Covid-19 FAQ

Families, we are so happy to have you back! All of our stores are open and welcoming customers safely.

We’ve made some changes to our experience and COVID policies, modified our crafts and activities to ensure the highest safety standards, and have routine cleanings in store.

  • At our New York (including Hudson Yards, Brooklyn, Fifth Avenue, Columbus Circle) stores visitors 12 years of age and older are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a photo ID in accordance with NYC guidelines to visit and enjoy the experience. Unvaccinated children ages 2+ are required to wear face coverings. Our Counselors are also required to wear face coverings.

  • At our 5th Avenue and Brooklyn stores we do not require proof of vaccination to enter and shop in the Canteen (in front of the magic door).

  • At our Texas and Connecticut stores we are requiring face coverings for children ages 2-12 and all adults, vaccinated and unvaccinated,  in accordance with local mandates. Our Counselors are required to wear face coverings.

For families who prefer to experience CAMP from home, camp.com has a large selection of toys and books plus great articles and guides for things to do with your family.

FAQ

Can we play behind the magic door?

Yes! Our experiences behind the magic door are open with safety protocols and guidelines in place to keep high touch surfaces and shared materials sanitized and clean for the safety of our customers. Families are also required to show proof of vaccination to play behind the magic door in our New York store locations.

Do you still offer activities beyond the magic door?

We do! Stop by to purchase and enjoy a signature CAMP craft kit on-site or to-go. You can also sign up for one of our awesome Counselor-led activities. Reserve your spot ahead of time on each store's location page or just walk right in!

Are you limiting store visitors?

We have removed restrictions in our stores for general visits and shopping. CAMP can accommodate social distancing on request for our activities and ticketed events in the theater.

At some of our stores (5th Avenue and Columbus Circle, New York as well as South Norwalk, Connecticut) we have a ticketing reservation system to reserve your spot ahead of time for those customers who wish to do so.

What are the current in-store safety protocols?

We disinfect multi-touch surfaces hourly at all of our stores. We sanitize any shared materials or demos after use. All CAMP locations are fully stocked with PPE equipment such as disposable gloves, masks and hand sanitizing stations.

Do I need to wear a mask upon entering your store?

  • At our New York stores (including Hudson Yards, Brooklyn, Fifth Avenue, Columbus Circle) we require unvaccinated children and adults to wear face masks. Please speak with a Counselor regarding any special needs or reach out to hi@camp.com prior to your visit. If you didn’t bring a mask, we have a selection of cute and comfortable CAMP branded masks available for sale in-store.

What about the Counselors? How are they staying and keeping us safe?

We follow all mandatory protocols and every employee submits a wellness check every day before coming to CAMP. We do temperature checks for our staff and follow all CDC guidelines.

Our Counselors are required to maintain social distancing and wear masks at all times.

Can we bring strollers in?

You can bring strollers into all stores except 5th Avenue. Cosmic CAMP is not stroller accessible, but we do have stroller check available at our 5th Avenue store.

Do you offer curbside pickup?

Not officially, but if you call any of our stores and pay by phone, one of our Counselors would be happy to run your purchase out to you! We also offer same day delivery within a certain radius of our stores. Ask a Counselor in store or email hi@camp.com to see if we can reach your delivery destination the same day.

Are you still hosting birthday celebrations?
